Sang-pil announces his intention to take over the defense of Hyung-man, a detective accused of murder.

When the trunk is opened, they see Sam Scales dead inside.

Her character (spoiler alert) has moved to San Diego in the show, so she may only feature henceforth with text messages or mentions by Mickey’s daughter.

He confronts Trevor, who admits that Juror Number Seven is a plant, and that his company is funded by Russian mobsters; he insists that he had nothing to do with the deaths of Lara, Rilz, or Jerry, but Lara was going to divorce him, putting the Russians' money at risk. Mickey remembers his father's words: it is harder to live with losing a case when you know your client is innocent.

Jazz Raycole as Izzy Letts, a former addict and client of Mickey in an assault and theft case, who he hires as his personal driver to pay off her justo fee to Mickey.

A stressed Lorna receives her bar exam results and finds she has become a lawyer.

A flashback shows how Bishop met DeMarco. On the stand, Bishop admits he took the case to educador it because DeMarco told him to. He reveals he found Empíreo and gave her address to DeMarco on his orders, and while waiting for him, Julian showed up and left shortly after, before DeMarco arrived and entered through an unmonitored door. Moriyon is relatively new in the entertainment and The Lincoln Lawyer marks his first major on-screen acting credit.

Sang-pil reveals to Yeon-hee that Oh-joo is behind the death of the former decano. Moon-sook plots with Nam Soon-ja to cover up the evidence and later rejects it and a witness in court. She confronts Sang-pil and tells him he has the same flaws as his mother, but does not know Jae-yi is listening. Oh-joo begins his campaign for viejo and works behind the scenes to sabotage the trial. Kwan-dong murders a key witness.
